First, let me say that it was great to meet Serenity and her folk down at D*C. They're all extremely nice, and are more than willing to help a noob out.

Second, it's just the coolest thing that everything they do is for charity. I hope this year was highly successful for you guys!

Third, can't wait for next year! Oh, and Serenity, in addition to the things we talked about, we want to add a one of a kind wall hanging to your auction next year. No big, we've got months to hash out details.

Did you notice that Summer was wearing a SEBC pin on her shirt at the panel on Sunday?

I'd like to also say thank you to them for doing what they did. It was a pleasure meeting all of them, and I hope to do so again!
How did the auction go? I missed the last two days, and I had some buckles in there...just want to know if they actually sold or not. If things go well this year, I might be able to put a Browncoat in next year.

heh I might get annoying saying this over and over but I was the one who was lucky enough to give that and the t-shirts to her and Alan at the Sunday panel (squeee!!!). There are pics of that panel all over with her wearing the pin and we are all THRILLED! You can see some here http://www.flickr.com/photos/scoregasm/233764230/ (no idea who the person who took it is just found it through the dragon con livejournal)

p.s. Serenity is working on totaling up what we made at the table on shirts, auctions, and donations to our crybaby. First we have to pay the t-shirt people their portions and we'll post up the results at our page as soon as we can.

We hope to give you a one-of-a-kind thingy for the auction next year, as well!

KAREL

Flying on duct tape and a damaged registry.

...and when I woke up, I was at the fan table writing sales receipts. Serenity was there, and fireflygal, and all those nice people... there were Browncoats everywhere...

(Kudos, SEBC!)

Thanks guys! We had a blast and I'll let y'all kow how we're doing with our donation totals. I'm hoping to have the books done by the end of this weekend, but there's a lot to get done But first I have a ton of real world (blech) stuff to get done.

I was gone for 6 days and have 9 days worth of work sitting on my desk. How does that work?

hehehehe that was pretty damn funny.

I didn't really do a whole lot with BrownCoats except the panels and my roommates, but I am interested in helping out. When I am not working a double like yesterday or today I am going to check out the website, join up or whatever, and do what I can to help.

Like the motto on the shirt said, "We're just glad to be doing good works." I think you guys are all very shiny for what you do and I regret not meeting more of you this past weekend.

MANWITHPEZ

Important people don't do field work.

SEEEEB-KA!!!

BWAHAHAHA!!!

Just wish I hadn't been outside in line when it happened...

Oh my...good times. Just wish I had it all over to do again.

(For the record...I wear the shirt I won in the trivia contest with pride! It's true! Just ask any member of my family who you don't know!)

Simon: "It means more out here. It's all I have..."
