Might have been playing there all weekend. Drive
on by the Elmira theater and you can probably see it right now from the road.

I can just see a guy planning his moves for the really gory parts (gotta comfort your date, right?) and discoving that she's gone gaga over seeing Nathan in his police uniform and just stares at the Nathan for the rest of the movie and completely ignores her date. LOL

LOL, ncbc!
It's an image I can easily conjure up, but there's plenty of time when Mr. Yummy isn't on-screen and nasty things are happening. One must carp the diem as one can.

I knew too much about the film before I saw it to be totally surprised, but I still jumped when certain things happened, and probably would jump again. Comfort would have been well tolerated, even though I was not suffering evening chill in a drive-in.

I saw the film in a small theater where they pop their own corn and put their own melted butter on it instead of buying it in a bag, pre-flavored.

It was quite the perfect movie-going experience, except for a lack of jujubes.

Waiting for the DVD....

SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVEN'T SEEN SLITHER

I don't know how to black out stuff so I'm giving you fair warning.

I saw it in a big stadium theater on the Friday night it was released with my daughter. Not much comfort there. We both closed our eyes and went UGGGGGGGG together during the really gory parts (like when the guy is split in two in the field).

I wanted to go back and see the parts that I missed but it had left the theater. Now I'll have to wait for the DVD.
