Hey, everyone, my name's Berna and I'm new to the site. Certainly not new to Firefly though. xP

Well, some stuff about me. I'm fifteen years old as of August 21st, I'm a freshman in highschool (physics and geometry, what could bring one greater joy?), and I learned about Firefly the very day Serenity came out.

I'm a sucker for this kind of thing. The underground movement suddenly gets a big break thing, specifically. Storm Large, Platinum Grit, and then Firefly. Love everything about it - the down to earth take on it, the interesting linguistics, and the horribly written Chinese Dong ma is actually either "ting dong mama" or "ting dong bo dong". Ntt to mentiont the horrible mispronunciation of "xiexie"...

It's more endearing then anything. The plot is intricate, nothing less then what I'd expect of Our Lord And Master Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy among other things. It's also the first show in which I liked every single main and supporting character.

Oh, and another thing about me...I like to ramble on.

xP Oh well, it's late, I'm tired from practice, just saw Snakes on a Plane which is both ridiculous and awesome, and I decided to join.

Huh. Physics and geometry in the same year? I did that, too. Problem was, the math in physics is calculus. I was the only one in class that wasn't taking calculus (being a year younger than the rest) and had a heck of a time understanding what was what. Teacher was a git. If ya don't get something, make sure the teacher explains it to your satification, not his or hers.

Oh, you may notice, I'm a bit of a rambler myself.

Oh and yer welcome in the 'Not at Dragon*Con' Party thread. It's for all of us not at the convention, which is where a number of folks have taken themselves off to this weekend.
