I don't, actually. I just copy and paste them. I wish I could remember who originally typed them; I want to say RMMC but I'm really not sure. I copied and pasted and made sure I always knew where to find one from then on, because what was described as how to type them (which involved the F14 key, I think) did not work for me. You can now always find them in "Exciting Adventures in Sitting". Or here, now. Or the Forsaken party thread, I think...

So Desktophippie you didn't like Civil War song.
It's sad and it's sweet and I new it complete many moons ago. In a John Wayne movie called "Horse Soldiers" his cavalry brigde is hiding in some woods as a Confederate cavalry unit marches by singing Bonnie Blue Banner. They did an excellent job. They sounded sad because they were so far from home.

Hehe I feel the same way. Sometimes if I'm not careful, I'll sing the Hero of Canton in the SHOWER just before or after singing the theme song. I had a steady run of doing this for a while. I have to be careful or my roomies will hear me thus creating a running joke.

But I guess you're safe if the song's just RUNNING in your head.

Hello Fizzix:

When I get any song constantly repeating in my head, it does tends to get tiresome. But as for Firefly song, I'd say you could do a lot worse. "Take My Love" is well written and the the orchestra does an excellent job with this piece. So if you're going to have a song in your head, than I feel you found a good one. Even Jayne's "Hero of Canton" is not bad. Joss and his team did not skip on the music for this show. I don't know how often you watch the series, but if you are getting worn down with this song then lay back for a while. Watch some other favorite program for a while. Firefly is not going anywhere. Put some of your favorite music on to listen to. That should help.

Even the best things in life can wear you down. So taking a break for a while will only make the show even more fresh when you return to it.

Reading has helped me when I'm trying to get away from something nagging in my head.
Shakespeare is good. "To be or not to be", can drive most anything out of your head.

Hoping this helps

I don't consider myself a die-hard John Wayne fan in spite of all

But I sort of remember it and want to see it again.
