Hey guys. I just got back from Hawai'i. And besides the opportunities I got to drink little fruity drinks from coconuts with those paper umbrellas, I had the benefit of being able to zone out in Waikiki on the beach and wonder, what the hell would Joss do next if he came out with another series?

You saved all those umbrellas right? Never know when you might need one. As to your question, not sure. As I understand it, he's pretty busy at the moment. For a series I could actually see a Spike spinoff. I'm not a huge Buffy or Angel fan (tho' I liked them well enough), but I could see it as profitable for for something like the new CW network. I know what we'd all like to see but for a series, the Spike thing seems most likely.

I don't know if Spike is such a viable option these days. I mean, he's making movies, has a reoccuring role on Smallville, and the biggest factor - he's 44! I'm all for suspension of disbelief, but it's hard not to notice that a vampire is aging. Even as BtVS progessed into the 6th and 7th seasons, he certainly wasn't looking as young as he did in Season 2's "School Hard". I LOVE the guy, but there's a time to let go.

I for one would love to see a Fray tv show, but it'll never happen.

He looks damn good for 44. And so does Adam Baldwin.

I could stand to see a little more...

I don't think a Spike spinoff would be a viable option either. I'm sort of...how should I put this gently so as not to destroy any Spuffy fans out there...tired of Spike?

I think he should get away from the vampires though, do a completely new series, one that maybe involves witches (though not anything involving Willow).

I just...i was trying to figure out, where do you go after Serenity if you're -the- Joss Whedon? Do you just do a show that takes place on a completely different PLANET? Or do you do some sort of show that mythological characters into a modern setting and let them wreak havoc on society.

I would love to see what Joss is working on, that man is a genius, he just blows my mind.

How about Joss does a Star Wars remake? All six movies, one right after the other.

He's has a few movies under his belt for the past few years, not enough to preclude a co-starring role I think. The recurring role would be easy enough to either work around or ditch (if he's not starring he'll probably be willing to quit for a starring role). And they do wonders with makeup (and CGI) these days.

One of the most true quotes I've ever seen.
