The who's who thread has talked about alternate casting for our beloved main characters. How about the villians in the new movie.

I think Sean Bean as an alliance officer with a personnal grudge against Mal an interesting option.

Any other ideas ?

Ok, Gino, obvious word association with your pick, but here it is. The worlds most terrifying Firefly villian:

He takes passage aboard the Serenity posing as an out-of-work comic on the run from the Alliance for unknown reasons, while in reality he is the semi psychic master mind behind the Blue Hands people. Think the Mule in Foundation.

Wash is knocked out, Bean is at the controls

Sean Bean is an excellent choice. Really liked him as the lead in Sharpe's Rifles so I wouldn't mind seeing him as a Browncoat either.

What about Tony Todd from Candyman.

Just looked at Tony Todd's filmography,

Can't believe the number of shows that guys been in.

The guy would obviously be a natural.

Someone on the other thread said Dennis Hopper would be a good Book. As soon as I saw that, I thought he would make a good Niska. I little more high strung and strung out, but I could see him being murderous and unreasonable.

Viva Firefly!

Curse you -- I have been playing spy drop for an hour and I still suck at it.

Morbid and creep-ifying I got no problem with.

The obvious choice would be Christopher Walken. Maybe as some kind of Reaver leader... if they have leaders.

Maybe Christopher Lloyd as a finatical cult leader. Gotta love those buggy eyes of his.

Christopher Walken, that's a good one.

How about Patrick Stewart, he does evil really well.

How about a male companion. I suggest Antonio Banderas
Might give somethin for the ladies to consider.

Just can't picture our Kaylee looking at Mr Banderas and saying " Look, they have boy whores "

Would make for an interesting plot though.
