Hi guys, I let a friend of mine borrow Firefly, and she still watching it. I know i only just let her borrow it, but i miss it already, lol iv watched serenity but i want some firefly too lol.

I need a Hug,,,,

Hug.

Lending out Firefly is one of the greatest tests of willpower in the 'verse. You know, intelectually, that you will get it back but being away from it for the length of time it takes to watch them takes it's toll on th psyche. Hang in there and remember you can always saunter over to the wiki and read the scripts if it gets too unbearable.

Ahhhh this ol' problem.... Y'know I used to loan out my copy of Firefly to my two best friends... Eventually I had no choice! I had to buy three copies for each of us I couldn't stand the waiting, and there is only so many times you can brush off the apology of:

"Oh sorry I forgot it , I'll bring it round next week!"

"Ya wha-!?"

So you see, do yourself a favour have a copy in reserve....

....But then again when it is eventually returned think of the joy, the exhilaration, the satisfaction you will feel at it's arrival. You'll probably grab it and hug it and never let it out of your site again. And for that day you will take no calls, invite no friends over, and plan no outings, so as you can stay in and watch from beginning to end the wonderment that is....

When I loan out my DVD's I usually let them have it one DVD at a time so I don't go into shock at the absence of Firefly.

Although, my friends loved it so much I was running over there 2-3 times a day to exchange DVD's.

They'd call me and say,

"BRING OVER THE SECOND DISC!!"

"wha-"

"NOW!!"

"Did you watch it in fast forward or something!? I just got back."

"Shut up and get over here!!"

Big Browncoat hug for you. Slick Tommy has it right, lend disc 1 only and then when they get hooked you have them go out and buy a copy, more discs sold that way. Course you can buy it for them too, nothin' in the rules against that.

I know what it is like to not have your
Firefly there when you need it. I did it once and never again. My friend asked for my boxset the other day and I rejected him because I go through serious Firefly withdrawals after a week's time.
