Anybody notice Best Buy is up to $49.99 and Amazon is $35.37.

Did they get wise to the fact that there's money to be made from our little old series?

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Even Wal Mart has jumped their price back up to $35.37. They were down to $19.87 for the set for months.

We may be seeing some price bots in action.

Think about it: a couple weeks ago we created a run on Firefly and Serenity. Sales went up over the levels they'd been at.

The puters see the sales go up and say, Aha! Demand is high, we can raise the price and make more creds!

After the peak, when demand drops back to the "steady state", the prices will go back where they were.

I doubt there's any human intervention going on. If there were, they'd have raised the price BEFORE Serenity Day.

Sure, it's a good sign... if the same computers are doing the greenlighting of projects at Universal now.

Which, come to think of it, may not be so unlikely.
