Hell yeah! I'll be there... dressed as Mal...

Umm, yeah. Last screening of 'Serenity Now', lets make it count!

Ah, the last screening! You folks have a wonderful time! I wish I were there to see it with you. *sigh*

I was in New Zealand last year, south island. Got to hang out in Wellington some, didn't get any further north than that, though.

Do well on the fund raising! Hope it does well.

Not yet - 6 hours to go, actually. I'll check in when it's over.

Ok, it's over. And I already can't wait till next year, if we do another one. Which we will. I hope.

My head hurts and I need sleep, so I'll make a full report tommorrow morning, but here's a few quick photos to let you draw your own conclusions:

The anticipation builds...

Karen draws...something... out of the bucket. I don't recall what.

I was a very last moment Inara (one of the organizers was most amused by this because of my name)... but isn't there a better picture than that?? I'm making such a horrid face! At least everyone else looks good.

Anyway, the screening. It went well apart from a few technical errors on the part of the theatre. Everyone I knew seemed to have fun. I think Karen did a wonderful job getting it all organized. Would have been nice to see a few more people dressed up though. I hope they did well all we know at the moment is that they did break even and make some profit, mostly from raffles etc, it just remains to find out how much!
