Noticed something missing????

Yup. Fox never planned to air Firefly during the summer as many of you hoped. Nowadays networks don't try to burn off fresh episodes in the summer as they did maybe 10 years ago. Once its cancelled, it's gone. Luckly Firefly is sci-fi and will appear again in reruns, most likely on Sci-Fi maybe in a year or two.

When Fox took off FF from the website's programming lineup, this is when it was for sure.

Oh well, sweet. This just confirms that I won't be stopping on Fox while I'm channel surfing. Nothing to see there.

Oh my, surprise surprise. Unless those 'to be announced' slots are filled with Firefly, then Fox is showing absolutely nothing this summer that I have the slightest interest in watching.

I think it is really very considerate of them. They seem to have taken the whole rampant obesity thing to heart and picked a line up that is sure to make us all want to go out and play in the sunshine rather than sit on the couch and watch their channel. I never knew Fox was such a socially responsible network.

Now I ask you all, does anyone wish Firefly were included with Fox's mass of dog crap?

The more I see of Fox, the happier I am that Firefly is no longer there; though I presume Firefly will continue in some form....

I would guess that the Fox Studios people, who own the show (as opposed to the Fox Network ones) probably prefer to leave the last three episodes unaired at this point, since it's a selling point for the DVD release.

Nothin else worth my time on fox.

Don't squat with your spurs on.

Seems very repetitive.

Maybe they'll plug the unaired Fireflys into two or three of those TBA slots.

You guys just might like Keen Eddie. I've been watching it (pretty much the only thing I've been watching other than Futurama on Fox) and it's actually not bad. It's no Firefly, but it's the best thing I've seen on there for quite some time.

Of course, since it's not a completely brainless T&A or reality programming show, they'll probably cancel it, just as I really get into it.

Don't get too excited about "Keen Eddie." The show is ending in late July. After the initial run, there will be several unseen episodes left in the can.

Anybody know if '24' is coming back? They left us with a cliffhanger and I wanted to see how it panned out. I was also hoping that they would give his Daughter an intelligent story line, for a change. I mean, how many crazy things can she get into? Hopefully Fox will leave the show mostly alone.

I stopped watching 24 (the only other show I really considered "worth watching" on TV) when I heard Firefly had been cancelled. I wasn't going to waste another single minute of my time on anything Fox airs, since it's a proven fact they'll just cancel it when I start getting into it anyway. There will be a season 3 of 24. What is unknown is if the president died, and if that actor is returning. Keifer is returning for sure.

http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=14583

[Fox Network entertainment president Gail] Berman said "24" was the fifth-highest rated program on television, and announced that Fox would renew the program for a third season. "By making the pickup now, we can give the producers ample time to go complete the course of the season, and plant the seeds for the next one," she said. Ms. Berman said the show would retain its 24-hour concept, but declined to confirm if series star Keifer Sutherland would return. "That could potentially give away a story line, and I'm not into doing that," she said.

And here are some 24 season 3 rumors:
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds11261.html
We may have seen the last of Sherry Palmer in 24, according to Zap2It.

The President's former wife, was seen being handcuffed and taken away at the end of last season, having played a pivotal role in the conclusion to the immediate storyline.

That image could be the last we see of her, following the news that her contract hasn't been renewed for season three, which begins this October on FOX.

The network has refused to comment on the contractual status of any star other then Keifer Sutherland, in order to maintain "storyline secrecy." A spokesmain pointed out that her lack of renewal doesn't mean she won't feature in season three, however -- Sarah Clarke, better known as Nina Myers, was in a similar bind last season but still showed up in several episodes as a guest star.

Thanks Succatash, you rock, as always. Well, at least Fox is keeping something intelligent on air. The only thing that really brings down the series is the daughter's story lines.

Anyway, Scotti keep your chin up man. Fox only really has it out for Sci-fi programming. Fox will only get an hour of my time per week next year.

Actually, I have to beg to differ. Titus was the funniest show on TV in a long time, and they screwed with his scheduling so much, you couldn't HELP but wonder if they had it out for him...

I look at that line-up and just say, "Why?"

We are all so sick of non-reality "Reality". I didn't follow 24. Sorry. Glad I'm working overtime so I can afford a DVD player and the DVD series when it comes out.

till then I I say.......

Some shows appear to be around just to strictly gross out the general public, but it *would* appear that the vast majority of "reality" TV is basically T&A.

'Course, now is seems that Fox appears to have legalized prostitution by way of "Paradise Hotel"

SCOTTI, I was fortunate enough to catch Titus when he came around with his act last year (absolutely hilarious -- love that man!).

Before it was cancelled, Titus even mentioned that we should write Fox and tell them to quit F***ing around with the show. He seemed rather irritated, and I didn't understand why at the time...

It was only when it disappeared after two new episodes (this year?) that I panicked and wrote to Fox complaining that I couldn't find my favorite show.

Never got a response. I think it was something posted on this board that told me that the show had been cancelled.

I'm also quite disgusted that Futurama hasn't been picked up.

I don't have HBO, so I missed it.

He was fantastic live, though! I found out about the show two days beforehand and managed to still get tickets. The place was packed.

I caught him at Zanies in Vernon Hills, IL. I was ecstatic that he was so close by.

Thank goodness I taped most of his shows so I can watch them.

I keep forgetting to go out to TV Shows on DVD and vote for Titus....
