Amazon buying is fine, but I don't think we should neglect our local small outlets. Amazon is a monster, and we're Independents - Browncoats. Support your local outlets- the sales still all go to Universal.

Or, buy directly from Universal! They'll see the profits firsthand instead of sifted through a dealer.

And remember, there are plenty of libraries, hospitals, college media rooms that don't have copies of Serenity- Donate!
OR Better YET! E-Bay them and send the procedes to Equality Now!

Let's share tips on letter gimmicks!

I'm doing mine on brightly colored paper and in bright envelopes- something to stand out, but I wanted MORE than that- something... I don't know.... Shiny. Gimmicky.
(and anybody know of little Serenity stickers to seal the envelopes with?)

Someone suggested adding a little handmade flipbook with our Burma-Shave type ads in it.

A friend suggested including a newsclipping, or printout of a Serenity/Firefly related article.

Any more shiny ideas?

You can buy sticker paper for your printer at most anyplace. I think it's about 7 bucks for 6 sheets at Wal-mart.

I think the idea of using brown paper is the best though. People see enough brown paper, and they'll realize something is up. People send all kinds of gimicks all the time, and they get thrown away. But if they see the same gimick over and over, then somebody has to notice. I think it's a good idea.
