Am I? I feel so isolated, make contact please!

It is depressing the lacking of browncoats in my school, or even people who have ever heard of Serenity, never mind Firefly, There only are about 4 or 5, that I know of, including me!!

Damn you Fox!! Damn you to Hades!!

Sometimes you own the libs. Sometimes, the libs own you.

Hullo Ms Smartbutdumb

I hail from warrington. Ye?

I can well understand the feeling of isolation by the way - I'm yet to meet anyone locally that has heard of firefly/serenity that I haven't directly introduced to it myself...

You may find firefly is easier to spread if/when you get to university

There are a few of us up here. I'm from Garstang myself - Just outside of Blackpool. I also know of one in Liverpool and Manchester. I have a replica browncoat I wear (when the weathers right) and I've yet to find anyone in the street who regognises it .

Welcome to the apathetic world of UK fandom folks!

I'm from North Wales and converting them left, right and centre! If only they'd register here!

It has always been like this. When at Uni in Stoke in the '90s, I used to run a Chapter of StarFleet Command an international Star Trek fan club covering N. Wales, Cheshire, Lancashire and Staffs. Despite thousands of people (then) liking Trek very few actively got involved in the fan side of things!

I doubt if things have changed much - except there being no Trek?

I'm in Blackburn, Lancashire. A good bit further North than you, SMDB, I'm afraid!

Another Noth-West browncoat here, in Preston. I've converted loads of people to the show and film, but don't think any of them are obsessed enough to have joined the fan community.
