My moment with Summer

I posted this also over at the Official Board, but this is my Home Page, and I would like to share my experience with my most bestest friends.

Life just continues to suprise me. First I am one of the lucky few who saw Nathan's Alliator Point pilot filmed, and then shake his hand during a break and talk about the up-coming movie, and then I meet Summer at the Burbank airport. So this is how it goes:
I am sitting in the terminal at Burbank(CA) waiting for my 10am flight to las vegas.(I am a traveling salesman) I look over the top of my sports page and notice a attractive young women standing about five feet in front of me. I look her in the face and she looks just like River!! It cant be!! At this point, I am faced with the decision of either just sitting there looking at her, or get up and go talk to her. Of course i stand up an walk over to her. I approach her and say "excuse me are you Summer Glau?" She was a little suprised I recognized her. She said that she was and I explained that i am the biggest Firefly fan!!!(along with all you guys of course!!)

Unfortunately at this point, I bombarded her with about a billion questions. It all was a little blurry, but this is what I was able to remember.

-That Joss had called her to tell her about the show being cancelled because she was not on the set that day.
-That after Fox placed an order for a couple more episode they were all very confident that they would get picked up.
-That there were no big egos from any of the cast and that they all became very good friends.
-That once the Gorram idiots over at the Fox family didnt want to do anything(movie or TV)Joss went to other studios to try and get approval to make a movie. I'm not sure how all the legal stuff works(rghts,property,etc...)but Summer said that Joss and everybody was suprised at how easy it was to get it done and approved.
-That Joss would not do the movie unless all nine cast members would be in it.
-That Joss is writing the script now and that he will continue the story where it left off, with the challenge of introducing the characters to the unfortunate who dont know already.
-That i was very jealous of the people in the UK who get to see the three episodes we didnt. After i said that, she reached in her backpack and pulled out some copes of the episodes and said " you mean these" I just about ripped them out of her hands and ran!! She was on her way to San Antonio TX. to give them to her parents.
-That her favorite episodes were "Ariel" and "Objects in Space"

As we were talking an announcement was made that our flight to Las Vegas was going to be a hour delayed and that anybody who had a connecting flight needed to go up to the counter to make new arrangements. I waited as she walked up to the counter. I just stood there looking stupid about how I was actually talking to her, and what questions I would get to ask her as I begged to sit next to her on our hour flight. After about ten minutes she walked back to me and said that they were able to connect her through on a different flight, and needed to walk to her new gate. She shook my hand and i thanked her for discussing Firefly with me and that I looked forward to the movie. As I stood there convincing myself that I had in fact just had a twenty minute conversation with River, all the questions i should of asked flooded my brain. I was half tempted to find out where her gate was dparting from and beg four more questions.
1)Which studio is doing the movie?
2)When does she think they will begin shooting?
3)Where will they do the filming at?
4)What was the budget for the movie?

But I decided i had scared her enough and just enjoyed replaying the experience for the remainder of the day.

Please feel fre to ask me any questions you have. Who knows maybe i asked and you asking the question will trigger my poor memory.

That is so awsome. you are so lucky to have met not just one, but two cast members.

Thank you so much for letting us know the latest on the upcoming movie. This is really shiny news!
