FF Cards Sold Out?!! Nice job!

I've been out of the loop for a little while now but I just came across this and it's great.

The Firefly universe (which includes the Serenity movie, of course) released a 72 card line of trading cards ... and the suckers have sold out. Individual outlets may still be selling some, but the manufacturer has no more to give. Nobody moves THAT many trading cards these days -- they are more of a novelty than anything anymore -- but you fans did it anyway."

Not sure what B&M's are selling them, but they should be at TFAW if you have one in your area. Your local comic or card shop mihgt have ordered some also.

But online www.poplollies.com should still have some left. They are cool Browncoats and have a ton of 'verse related stuff.

Also, from what I read, the Firefly cards were produced in the same quantity as the Serenity cards. But the binders were created in much greater numbers due to demand. It seems more people wanted binders than cards :)

Well, just look at the binder. It is shiny!!

And I just thought of another thing I can put in it. I can put the Serenity ticket stubs I have in the trading card plastic sleeves I got from a Comic Book store.

They also sell plastic sleeves that allow comic books to be stored in the 3-ring binders. The 9 cover Comic book will look shiny in the binder.

Every Browncoat needs one of these binders for their souvenirs.

Yep, they got them. Must resist buying a CASE.

And the have "Firefly Forever" The 9 card uncut Mini press sheet only 199 are being made!

Thank you, DanRegal. When the Serenity cards came out, I said I wasn't going to go through this trading card thing again...but when the Firefly cards came out with that Shiny binder...I couldn't resist. And the Firefly binder just needs those Serenity cards too.

Still says they have 1 of these left. Which I know they should have sold that one--so I hope the one I just bought isn't a computer glitch.

Ok Ok so I promised myself I wouldn't spend a whole load of cash on a bunch of cards. And I guess I kinda stayed true to that, I hope :P

I bought the 72 card Firefly base set (didn't really want the stress of all the booster packs) and I was going to leave it at that. Until I realised there was a seperate Serenity set, with no base sets left in stock, and bought a wadge of booster packs. Naturally (:P) I thought "may aswell get some Firefly boosters too while I'm at it" and now I have all these cards and no where to put them...guess I should order a Firefly folder for 'em all.

I'd love to buy a load of the rarer single cards (Sean Maher/Jewel Staite's autograph cards *drool*) but NO, I must resist! ...I can see how they're selling out xD

I am down to needing about 2/3 of the autograph cards for my firefly collection to be complete. There are scads of them on eBay, so don't worry too much about finding them.

I swore when I heard about these cards that I wasn't going to go nuts and buy everything like I did with the Serenity set, but gorramit! I can't help myself!

The question I have is this: I like the extra people that were included in the autographs, but where are Summer and Alan?

So who is he? He's my husband. Well who in the damn galaxy ain't!
