This is a real Yoga position called the Firefly.

Firefly: A pose known in Sanskrit as "Tittibhasana"; translated into English, this means "Firefly"

At this time I would like to ask all Browncoats to perform the "Firefly" and send photos to info@strangefinger.com. No naked photos! Gross! You must keep your underwear on at least.

Where the hell do you find this stuff Succatash?

By the way, she looks like she's in pain. That's just not natural.

It wasn't easy! I hired a detective and ended up in a dark alley at the bottom of a flight of stairs.

I couldn't see any faces, but a group of men shouldered me into a doorway and I found myself standing in a strange abandoned warehouse. Then, the lights turned on.

It was the most beautiful thing in the world! The Level 10 Yoga move: The Firely, performed by Gannon! I just couldn't believe it. It's illegal in 49 states, you know.

Afterward, everyone ate raw sushi off of some naked girl's stomach. Yep, it was the night of my life.

Are you trying to entice us into illegal behavior, Succatash?

THEN send you photographic evidence of our crimes?

Nice try. I always knew you were up to something...

There ain't nothin' I can't overcome or come to know. So lay your heavy load down on me, strip everything I have away. I am not your prisoner, I am not afraid.

That looks like a tremendous balancing pose. But this is what I've always thought (been taught) that the Firefly pose was:

Scroll down-- it's second from bottom.

And did you pass that Sleeping Thunderbolt Pose? Eep.

I'll keep striving to achieve Upward Bow.

Hey, that is strange! How can there be two Firefly poses? Sarah's picture looks more correct to me.

There's a yoga annecdote: A hundred different yogi's will have a hundred different methods for teaching Triangle Pose.

Triangle pose is one of the more basic poses--moment to learn, lifetime to master kind of things.

No reason that one couldn't be a variant on the other, since they both seem to be balancing poses. One is leg balance, one is arm balance. Both look hard as hell and very invigorating.

Namaste,
Sarah
