I know they're worth a lot, emotionally more than physically, but i bought two of the comics a few weeks ago. I paid $8 for the one with wash on the cover and $16 for the one with Mal, and i dont think they're first prints, but it was all he had left. Did i get ripped off?

Oh..and i havent opened them yet, i dont plan to till comicon and ONLY if i can have either nathan or alan sign 'em..hopefully.

Seeing as I'm still seeing them on E-Bay for around $4.00, yup. Looks like you got taken. :)

But hey, when it comes down to it, their PRICELESS, right?

and it is totally worth it to have them in hand for the autographs!
After all, you could pay almost the same for just a photo to sign, and these are so much better than that!

so don't worry about it, be happy!

Depends...

If they're the first direct editions of the comic then no. In fact you probably got a good deal.

But if they're any other edition then yes.

I believe the best way to tell if it is a first edition of the Serenity comics is in the barcode where it should say "Dark Horse Presents" or something close to that then you have a first edition.

It would also depend what the condition of the comic is as well.

Oh, and play Cantr II at www.cantr.net.
