As another lurker who finally decided to jump right on in, hi. Well, I already have a browncoat (three-quarter length suede)

Welcome!

How did you find out about Firefly/Serenity?

Do you live in any of the cities that are having June Charity Screenings of Serenity?

Well this has really set me up for the day, to wake up and find so many shiny new messages waiting to say hi. Thanks for my Browncoat Followmal, seems you must be real busy handin' them all out to newbies, its great to see I'm not alone in taking the plunge.

First saw Firefly on UK Sci fi channel a couple of years ago now, I think. First one I saw was OoG which had me hooked from the get go, but as Sci fi seemed to show them randomly I didn't see all episodes till I purchased the DVD just before the BDM hit the big screen.

Doesn't look like there's any june screenings near me as I live in the Middle of Nowhere UK.
But I'll be there in spirit, and I'll spread the word.

Hugs
Spicky

Howdy, Spicky. Looks like the welcome wagon has already been through with their sundries, but I can never help but tag along for the free food :) Anyways, just adding my welcome as well.

Keep the faith, spread the word, and hold the line. And if Mal takes too long getting back, or something happens, we'll take the ship and come rescue him! :P

Hi Spicky,

I know how you felt, I was there once...but this is a shiny place filled with real decent folk (well, mostly, as someone said) and you've done the right thing by saying hello - it's good to hear from you, and welcome aboard!

Ok...been holding these back, but this seems like the time (places large bowl of strawberries on the table) everybody tuck in! - you can go first Spicky [these are special anti-allergy ones].

- Shiny. Let's be bad guys.

Thanks for the special strawberries. They taste just how I remember them. Scrummy
