VINTERDRAKEN

I have two friends from my hometown who I got to start using the word "gorram" before they ever saw the series (ofcourse I eventually got them to start watching it )

You can’t stop the Signal.
Keep spreading the word about Firefly!

If you play Nationstates.net check out the region Firefly.

That was real pretty, what you just said.

I take it that's the poem you wrote for English? Kudos! The ref made me almost giggle, but it IS real pretty. Very existentialist, heh. What's the title, btw? Sounds like it should be something like "It's Just An Object".

Shiny!

Dont worry, tis perfectly natural for a Browncoat. Not only is my family treated to loud, off key renditions of the hero of Canton whilst I am in the shower, but the theme tune and the fruity oaty bar song too (I've even perfected the squeaky voice).

My best friend could repeat the whole of the "fertile land dinos" scene for months before she actually saw it, and I still cry like a baby,(a hungry, angry baby) at the Wash incident in Serenity, even thoough I've seen it a million times already.

Also, I'm taking my GCSEs at the moment, but now I dont want to, and am quite worried, after I discovered that the last A in AQA (that makes and marks all the exam papers)stands for ALLIANCE!!
is this an omen of things to come???

I love Wash! Bring back Wash!

SBDB, yes, the Alliance is moving into all things...it's our job to keep an eye on them and make sure they don't get too far.

Didn't have a chance to on your earlier thread, but welcome to the 'Verse! You are not alone in the things you do...we all do things that non-Browncoats find "odd". If only they understood...

Holding until you get back, Captain.

Hmm.

I say things are 'shiny' instead of cool.
I say 'gorram' instead of damn it.
I know some Chinese curse words.
I say things are 'quaint!' when I like them and my friends don't.
I tell folk that 'some people juggle geese' whenever there's a bemusing incident.
I own a Browncoat.
I grin whenever I buy or eat strawberries or Chinese food.
I'm going to call my kittens Jayne and Shepherd Book.
I'm going to call my daughter, if I have one, Zoe.
I went to Collectormania SOLELY to see Alan Tudyk and Ron Glass.
I'm decorating my new dining room like the Firefly kitchen diner.
The word 'problematic' makes me giggle.
The cafeteria ladies where I work are totally sick of me saying 'two by two, hands of blue' at them, because they were blue vinyl hygene gloves.
I write Firefly fan fic.
I make up Firefly filk. (But rarely post it, lol)
I buy 'Firefly-ish' clothes. I bought my first pair of dungarees/overalls this weekend, hehe.
I'm decorating my bedroom like Inara's shuttle.
I'm getting a Firefly themed tattoo.
I'm having a costume Shindig some time in September.

Um...

I think I might be a Browncoat.
