I just landed here and wanted to know if the flow of new Browncoats was always this strong? Or are we gaining a momentum, or vice versa? Too bad we didnt have some kind of tracker to see how many new Browncoats join the fight.

I sorta checked about 10 days ago, and back then we got about 30 new registered Browncoats a day. That ain't so bad.

One day.
One mission.
One army of Browncoats.

On June 23rd, we aim to misbehave.

It's been pretty solid the past couple of weeks! Part of it, I think, is that people are just now discovering the dvds that they got for Christmas, and part of it is students on Spring Break who finally have some spare time on their hands to watch dvds and get online.

Eryk, our newest addition, is number 200308. 300 in about 10 days, that's in sync with my 30 people a day assessment. It's gonna be interesting to see how many it's gonna be when we start our campaign.

Also,I think alot of peoples first taste of the Verse was Serenity on DVD (like me). So after seeing Serenity, and subsequently Firefly, you land here.

Shiny to see you here in the 'Verse, teinen.
Have a dish of strawberries.
Question the buffet.
Please, if you eat one of the ice-planets, put the stick and the string into the recycling containers.

Back around 20,000 'coats, somebody posted a chart showing the increase in membership. Did I bookmark it? Of course not. *flips lip* The shape of the inflow was interesting, however. This last leg has been steep, indeed.

Wow, thats kind of what i had in mind. Posted like a true Newb.

Well i guess you guys have really thought of it all. So how many Browncoats do we have total? Its likely we've got more of an army than some small countries.

Id like to see a lad/lass ratio also. Seems fairly even.

You can tell someone's number by hovering over his/her screen-name with your mouse. It'll show in the bottom of your browser frame. You are, I think, 20141. Try it and see.

As for the lad/lass/undecided distribution, it's not always easy to tell about an individual, so make no assumptions. Heh.

Spread the joy that is Firefly/Serenity.
6/23 is only two months away.

Well im hoping that most of the "Mal is so hot" comments are made mostly by women. Hey, but if not, its cool with me.

Well, I ain't sly, but I must say he certainly knows how to wear a pair of tight pants :)

I only have eyes for Kaylee, though (Well, and Inara, Zoe, and River, as well...)

Back to topic, though: Certainly seems like the numbers have been growing exponentially. Who knows, maybe this whole viral marketing thing is actually working? I wonder how many of us new recruits were brought on board by Browncoats themselves?

I was infected long ago by Browncoats, a nasty pair who have been responsible for an epidemic in their immediate environment.

You'll read many stories of FF converts and convert-ors on the board.

Then there's a group who came in through seeing the film and knowing zip about the series.

I love to read their tales of gulping the series whole, or rationing it out with care and finally coming to The End. Looking out over the Rim and seeing only a vasty black nothingness. Going bibbledy looking for more...

It's all good. We are here for you. The more here the merrier. Spread it as you can. We aim to grow like grey goo.

We got our own numbers ? Where do I find my number ? I wanna know my FFF.Net number!

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

Hey now! I'm not Undecided! I've decided to not limit myself.

Mal, Zoe, heck- why chose when you can have BOTH?

You're number 3968, which probably means you're a vet. You can find out by moving the cursor over someone's name, like someone already mentioned. Your registration number will come up down there above the task bar in the left corner.
Try it, it's hours of whacky fun!

Hee hee, Ertie, I lingered long over that third designation and gave up, using one which was bound to be inadequate to the situation.

We'll chalk you up in the "Unrestricted" column, eh?

Go for it!
