Yes.
I remember you, but you don't remember me.

Good to see you.
Keep on flyin'

Glad you're back.

At last.
We can retire and give up
this life of crime.

BERLIN lyrics - "Now It's My Turn"
(J. Crawford)

You broke into my life
And stole my heart
Without a single clue
You fell apart
Well, now you're back again
And say you've changed
Well, I've got news for you
You're guilty just the same

Now it's my turn
Now it's my turn
You hurt me then
I'll never let you hurt me again

Sweet surrender found me
On my knees
My eyes were full of love
I could not see
You left the scene of the crime
Hit and run
Don't think you'll get away
The pain has just begun

Now it's my turn
Now it's my turn
You hurt me then
I'll never let you hurt me again
Now it's my turn
Oh, you'll never learn
Just like me you'll be
A casualty of your love

You have the right
To remain silent
Anything you say can
And will be used against you
In a court of love

Now it's my turn
Now it's my turn
You hurt me then
I'll never let you hurt me again
Now it's my turn
Oh, you'll never learn
Just like me you'll be
A casualty of your love

RIVER6213

I am currently going through advanced therapy coupled with experimental drug enhancements. My dreams are the most vivid that I have ever experienced. Reality and my own imagination are for the time one and the same.

Anyway.

One reoccurring dream is one that happens from The Return of the Jedi. I see myself as River instead of Luke, standing there on the planet Endor, lighting the fire for my mother’s funeral pryer. It’s from the scene where Luke is setting fire to Darth Vader’s grave...to his father’s grave; River’s Mother’s grave.

River stands there and watches as the fire catches, and then consumes the body of the mother she once knew. The flames lick high into the air, and soon, the funeral pryer is nothing more than a flaming mass. River watches with a tear trickling slowly down her cheek. She knows that it’s over…the evil that had consumed her and multitudes of others for the past 40+ years are over. The 40 year war is over and she knows it, and also the rest of the world knows it. She looks up at the sky wondering to herself just where in this galaxy does she fit. Overhead, Viper Mark IIs, F16, and X-wing fighters fly over at incredible speeds ejecting fireworks in celebration.

Meanwhile, cities all over the Earth are celebrating the defeat of the evil one.
New York: Millions turned out for a celebration that is beyond description. To the tune of Primary church bells, the Monuments and statues of River6213 are being pulled down all over the city as reported by the New York Times.

All over Europe, unabated celebration has hit the streets of every major city. It appears that all the war weary people are thankful for their unexpected and new found freedom.

The Middle East: In every major city, people Jews and Muslims are dancing in the streets at the fall of the evil one.

In China: Every major city was given permission for total expression of the thankfulness that the evil one was destroyed, which they did in droves.

*The war is over*

All aspects of my mental defense systems are down. If I were all of you, I would use this time wisely and attack. I have no defense.

None at all.

For the 1st time in my life.

Attack away

The time is now.

She stares thoughtlessly at the button of complete destruction and understands but does not comprehend.

Your little thread fell off into the archive, so I had to go out and bring it back.
I'm not going to attack you, though.
I'm seeing the end of Objects In Space, after River came back to the ship, when she was playing jacks with Kaylee and she said "I can win this" I don't think she was talking about the game. She had realized that she could beat what she had been through, that she could be accepted back after it all.
Your dreams surely are vivid. It's good when the war is over.
Welcome back, River

The only point of attack is to break down the defenses. No defenses = no need to attack.

Hi River,

I've been wondering how you're doing. I'd give you a hug,but being how we both feel about that, maybe I'll just sit next to you for awhile.
Glad to see you.

Of course now I hear Pink Floyd in my head chanting "Tear down the wall " ....
