Was adding films to my Netflix queue and searched for Adam Baldwin flicks & Nathan Fillion Flicks...
I just rented Poisedon Adventure -- and Adam was very Jayne-like, even had some good dialog. Otherwise kinda typical TV remake... Wouldn't recommend it.
And on Netflix, guess what film (among the many he's been in) that really caught my attention?

From 2002: LADY JAYNE: KILLER
yep that's the title. creepifyin' huh? Don't know whether he did this before Firefly or what... Wonder if this is where Joss got his character name from...

And when I looked up Nathan's films, one stood out that I put in my queue:

From 2003: WATER'S EDGE with him in the lead role, so lots more scenes to watch with him in it than what we got in SLITHER. Anybody seen this one [Water's Edge]? Comments?

Uh...have glanced at the box for the movie a couple of times when at the video store. Seems like a rather connect-the-dots thriller or horror flick, though I did see someone say Nathan's the only good thing about it.

This was on TV the other day. Terrible. And Adam Baldwin plays a corrupt cop/FBI agent? He looks good (he even looks taller than usual - maybe it's the suit or maybe the other actors are short), but it certainly wasn't worth watching (but I did!).

Well, you can always catch Mal (Fillion) in Saving Private Ryan and Jayne (Baldwin) in Full Metal Jacket.

Wash: Closing in.
Zoe: Planet's coming up a might fast.
Wash: That's just 'cause I'm goin' down too quick. Likely crash and kill us all.
Mal: Well, if that happens, let me know.

He plays Eve's ex Cliff. There's a part with him moving out when Adam and Eve show up at her place. I forgot he was in the movie until I saw it in Nathan's profile on imdb about 6 months ago.

Adam is also in the Patriot with Mel Gibson. He plays the role of a colonist with morals very similar to Jayne's.

Waters edge was alright.

Nathan was great. It was a fairly typical B movie. Didn't hate it.

It could pass an evening. Wouldn't be anywhere near the worst you have ever seen.

I say about a C+

One day.
One mission.
One army of Browncoats.

On June 23rd, we aim to misbehave!

Nathan doesn't know it yet, but I am his one true love! Is that weird?

Water's Edge is a predictable B movie. Rent it instead of watching it on Lifetime Network. Lifetime edits the heck out of a mildly sexy scene with Nathan on a boat dock. Worth renting, just to say you've seen it...but don't expect the thrill of a lifetime.

Just saw Adam on an episode of SG-1, as the leader of an SG team. He had a great monologue about having children and how they suck the life out of you.

"Have you ever been with a Warrior Woman?"

Yes yes, Nathan Fillion was in it. I just watched it the other day on TV the entire way though just to see Nathan's scenes. Like someone else said in this thread, he does have a scene when Eve (Alica Silverstone) and Adam (Brendan Fraiser) are entering Eve's house, while his charachter (Eve's ex) is leaving. Then he has another scene later on in a bar. He gets punched in the face quite a few times by Brendan Fraisier. Nathan made what lines he did have in this scene funny though. But the movie was quite bad. Ugh.

My Bodyguard with Adam Baldwin & Matt Dillon is pretty good at least I remember it being good, I have'nt seen it since i was a kid. I will probably watch it again soon when i find a copy. Baldwin gets a ton of screen time in it, he is the title character after all. He basically co stars in it with the kid he protects.
