Hello

I am new to the 'verse, but have quickly become a Firefly/Serenity fanatic!

I saw the BDM in the theater on a whim. I liked the trailer, it reminded me of alot of the feel of the original Star Wars movies. I had a time getting my sons to go - but they are now fanatics to!

I am proud to say that since the movie came out on DVD I have watched it, or 2 or 3 episodes of Firefly everynight. And I have converted all my sons friends and a few of mine, or at least the ones with a brain!

I do have a question - how many comics/graphic novels are there and how do I get them?

Nathan doesn't know it yet, but I am his one true love! That's not weird or anything is it?

There are three comics, which were compiled into one called Serenity: Those Left Behind which is available at most major book retailers in their graphic novel section. It is thin, has a white spine with purple writing. You can also order it on the cortex.

And no it's not...to weird. You have a lot of competition here, though

it is wonderful to greet another Browncoat!

I mention the comics (and other goodies) in my signiture...
I would suggest asking your local bookstore if they have the 'Serenity' graphic novel...
and find your local comic book store, because there will be more and you want to make sure they know you want them.
If you have any trouble finding them then go to Midtown Comics (the Manhattan comic book store has a really good online site where you can order 'Serenity' and any and all future comics that I hope will come out soon!

So, tell me, does your love of Mal (er Nathan?) mean you'll be writing some MarySue fan fic sometime soon? (just kidding)
