POSTHOLER

Hello all,I wanted to introduce myself to the community.

I just got my first dose of the verse a couple weeks ago.I came in and my fiancee(also a new member) was watching Serenity the movie,I caught about the last 1/3 of it and for most movies that probably would have been enough but one thing had caught my eye.

I'm a big sci-fi fan and one of the reasons is the spaceships, some of my alltime favorites are,
Y-wing fighters,Millinneum falcon(sp?) and the carrier fighters on BSG.even though Serenity is huge and unarmed she had a style all her own.

Long story short,by the time I had watched the movie for the 3rd time and had a chance to become a fan of the cast as well as the ship,my fiancee had bought the series on dvd
I'm now finishing my fourth run through of the series.

Thanks for the time
**edited with the fiancees help so I don't sound quite so dumb**

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Welcome aboard Postholer! Glad to have you here.

Since your fiancee introduced you to the show you know of course that you are now obligated to go out & introduce it to at least three new people. Really. It's in the handbook.

He's my one down, now I also have to find 2 more. Cleaned my friends house for free while she was on vacation and I had agreed to pet sit her animals (girls has 2 dogs, 2 ferrets, 2 doves, 3 frogs, 5 cats, a hedgehog and a bunch of hissing cockroaches). I'm gonna try to get her to watch Serenity for payment

Makes her a home." Mal

Welcome to the 'Verse, Postholer!
Either you're not too dumb or your fiancee's a sharp (not dirty) editor. Hold on to that one, if so.

If FollowMal finds you, she'll be issuing your virtual browncoat, but it may be awhile. She's up to her eyeballs in new 'coats lately.

While we hang out here, please join the bunch in the galley for strawberries, Mudder's Milk, and all the other goodies which might take your fancy. Wife soup's just being dished up.

If you see a grey streak, it's the ShipsCat taking off again, so step carefully.

RESE

Welcome aboard, Postholer! Sorry to be so late to say howdy, but I've been looking for our-lady-of-the Browncoats, FollowMal, who should be along presently to give you your new, shiny browncoat. She's been sorting the new shipment of coats; by the way, what size do you wear? I'll tell her as soon as I can find her.

Oh, and FloralBunny -- that grey streak that just flew by here -- I didn't mean to step on his tail! Honest! Grey cat, grey boat.

*impish grin on face, rese slowly backs away from the Bun*

Anyone else always think that sounds uncomfortably like a favorite Reaver dish?

Eh, rese, beware kitty revenge. She haunts the catwalk (where else?) when she's not eating, sleeping, or telling the pilot how to run the ship.
You'll have to make your peace with her.
Sturgeon from New Melbourne in the fridge.
And a vid of tap-dancing penguins. She likes that one...
=======================================
Now sab, Reavers never muck about with soup. They like their flesh raw, warm and quivering.

I think Wash's "wife soup" was probably split pea. From the color, if it were anything else I'd not want to know, truly.

No problemo, bun. Heck, if it's "Happy Feet", not only will I watch it with her, I'll clean the litter box, too.

But I can't seem to find Simon in the frig -- why would he be in there anyway? What? Oh, "sturgeon"! Sorry, my bad.

*pops vid in machine, puts bowl of fishy goodness down for Cat, frosty mug of Mudder's Milk on table*

"Here kitty-kitty! Here kitty-kitty"

No bad. I've caught him in there cooling off after being too close to Kaylee....

Heh.

Cat box duty is something you can play to get rid of in the Tall Card game.
