Long Time Fan, New Member - Hi All!

Hi all -- long time fan of the show, newly joined this evening. I'm good friends with SimonB -- he holds me responsible for his love of Firefly (aren't I evil?), so now I hold him responsible for getting me onto this site. I've watched from afar for a long while, now I'm climbing aboard this good ship. And other spaceship related metaphors too numerous to mention.

So that's it really -- of course, I love the show, and have done my Browncoatly duties and converted numerous people along the way (my girlfriend is even more bitter about the fact that the show was cancelled than I am). Joss is a genius, and if he's reading, I'd like a job please, sir.

I live in the United Kingdom under a big old smog cloud where I can't even see the stars, and I dream of going out into the black one day. But hey -- some people juggle geese.

MmmWifeSoup, did you get coated and fed on that other thread? I'd hate to see you get a paunch, but don't want to leave you out, either.
We have Wife Soup on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, made from Zoe's original recipe, so there's that to look forward to.
I'm trying to locate a reliable source of apples so we can have pie, but the scout-shuttle is under repair.
Berries there are, however, and still some cream left. Three cheers!

Mmmm... looks like FloralBunny's been by with the food ;p Best part of seeing a new face around here is it's usually the only time we ain't eating protein paste (my favorite flavor's green.) And judging by the number of shiny new people coming aboard, it looks like I may have to loosen my belt a couple notches and get ready for a nap ;p (Powerful hard work keeping up the women-folk around here :)
