Awww, hey, Kilgore, you're a Browncoat so you are among friends. Welcome!

Here's a suggestion for Firefly-less survival, at least in the short term: Read the shooting scripts. They can be found on fireflywiki.org. They'll help you get through until you can get your DVDs back.

I'm gonna see Serenity then
go back the next morning and see it again.

Another idea: walk around and spout random Firefly quotes to Bolivians on the street. Sure to be a good time.

that sucks a lot. is bolivia at all like asia in regards to all the black market DVDs/CDs/ID cards? if it is, you should try and track down serenity and/or firefly and then make everyone watch it at the places you're staying.

There's tons of things to explore right here on FFF.net. You can check out the great art and other fan contributions in the Blue Sun Room (click on the link near the top of the main page, not the Blue Sun forum).

Or, try out the chat room. I'm sure the browncoats there will give you a warm welcome.

Or, if you haven't seen them, download and watch the River Tam sessions. (Unfortunately I don't have a link handy. Anyone? Beuller? Beuller?)

Or, check out the current and archived threads in this forum or any of the others... most every subject in the 'verse has been chewed over at some time or other.

I don't disagree on any particular point.

You could also beat your head against the wall and scream about how folks with blue hands took your Firefly from you ... Just a thought... Who knows, it might work. Or just give you a headache... Lemme get back to you on that one.

P.S. Welcome to the site, fellow Browncoat!

You're welcome on my boat. God ain't.

Welcome aboard, Kilgoretrout! Don't worry, You're doing just fine. We've all been new here at some point. We like to meet new folks, especially fellow browncoats.

Hmmm...things to do...you could randomly spout some Chinese--just take care you don't offend anyone who can actually speak it.

As mentioned by Doncoat, we have lots of shiny things to do here.

You can surf through some other fan sites. Here's the hub URL for a Firefly web ring:

I think you'll be safe spouting out quotes from the show considering most people won't understand a lick of what your saying. (I doubt anyone's going to recognize Chinese in a Spanish speaking country) Now, on the other hand they might think you're a nut but hey, who cares, you won't be there that long anyway, right?

Glad you're here, no worries about lookin looney.

As for what to do, there's tons of good fanfic here on our super boards, as well as other ones. There's also the virtual season, which is cool.

Hey thanks for the ideas im definitly going to walk around quoting it to the bolivians (might even do it in spanish just incase someone recorgnizes it). forgot to mention did find a bootleg copy of serenity here (which is impressive considering they barely have anything new) but no DVD PLAYER. Of to argentina tommorrow so fingers cross i find a fanbase there.
Also what are the river tam sessions cause connections arent good enough here to download it.
Cheers for adive keep it coming put smiley face here (sorry dont know how to insert it)

p.s. How do you guys make the quotes all look cool with those photos (im so bad at this stuff)

Most of that junk I'm pretty lame at too. The signature thing is pretty easy, if all you're trying to do is something simple like me. Just got to your own profile and click edit my profile, and there's a bit there that lets you insert any signature you want.

As for all the other fancypants picture stuff I have no idea.

And in the same editing profile place, it also lets you pick an 'avatar' (picture). There are several nice ones to choose from.

The little smiley faces (emoticons) in the comments () are dead easy. When you reply to a post (or make a brand new thread) in a frame to your left <---- are the emoticons. You just use a colon the word of the emoticon you want (wink) followed again by another colon and you get this:
Have fun! Play around a bit and soon you'll be !
