I'd never seen it before. I read about the development of the show, the plotlines and the nightmare Joss and co faced when it got cancelled.

I also learnt that the show got some very devoted fans. Now I see why. 'Serenity' was one of the two hours of television, I had ever seen. Everything felt right and everything clicked. I care about these characters now.

Damn you Fox for cancelling Firefly.

Start writing letters! The sets are still up and the actors are still available. If Fox can make money off of this critter, it will be back.

Sag.

Hate to tell you this, but the sets aren't up anymore.

Of course Nathan's Alligator Point pilot didn't get picked up, so that's comforting!

Sorry Nate, but we need our Cap'n!

I hadn't heard about Alligator Point not being picked up. I feel bad for Nathan, but that really helps the future of Firefly!

True, but the parts are still in storage and can be reassembled if needed.

Write those letters, send those postcards! Couldn't hurt.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Sorry for the mislead folks. Turns out it isn't getting picked up in the regular season, but is slated to be a mid-season replacement. Read it on the fox.com site. Here's the link, this was posted yesterday:

SHINY NEWS!!!
Ok, folks, early this AM I got a message from show creator and writer, Robert Peacock which he had written yesterday! Turns out the show ain't dead. Test audiences loved it, and it is a potential mid-season replacement.
I wrote him back to ask if I could share his message, and he said yes, so as of now it's up on the www.alligatorpointweb.com website, along with his second response. He has only the nicest things to say about Nate, so enjoy!
:)
Heidi - so excited she's gonna go spam the heck out of the board with this!

Many's the time I've had someone tell me I gotta get my mind out of the gutter. I always tell them that the gutter is an improvement from where my mind is usually at.

I figger if you are going to be something in life, be the best at it.

P.S. - Glad ya like that......

I'd get my mind out of the gutter, but it's attached to the rest of my body.
