Hey all ...

Long time browncoat, first time poster, so sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere, blame it on my newbie status

But I stumbled upon this little tidbit and wanted to share:

I'm not sure if this is old news in that the "relicense" reference pertains to the first run of Firefly on Sci-Fi, or if it means that they licensed it again from Fox for another run in some form. Hopefully the latter as that might lead to other shiny things !!!

Angel on Sci-Fi? Interesting... but good to hear they're continuing to support Firefly.

Now just waiting for them to start broadcasting in HD, can't stand their current horribly compressed picture quality.

They're picking up Crusade. Nice. I really liked that series. Too bad it didn't last very long.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Mentioned a bit earlier on this thread - http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=2&t=18925

Although I would dearly love for this news to mean new episodes of Firefly, I'm pretty sure all they are talking about is repeats. And, this is the UK Sci-Fi Channel they are talking about in that article of course. The US cable outlet with the same name has already been running repeats of Firefly since last July, with the last airing coming on March 10.
