Howdy folks :)

Well, im new to this forum so i figured i might as well introduce myself to you good browncoated people. i got into the series through my sister who went seeing serenity in the cinema and immediately went on to watch the series firefly (wrong order i know *sigh*). attempting to block out her innane babbling about how great it was i was rather dubious about watching firefly as there are so many bad sci fi series out there (in my here humble opinion).

But lo! after watching the pilot i was hooked. i eeked out the series trying to make it last as long as possible and when it finally DID i had 3 whole months to wait for serenity on DVD as by that time it was out of the cinema. and boy those spoilers sure were hard to avoid :)

Well! so far ive made browncoats of only 5 other people, but im working on more. this forum is pretty darn rootin', its nice to be among the fold of you interestin' folk. see y'all around, y'hear? :D

btw i have convention tickets!!! NOW i have to wait SIX damn months. GrrrRRRrrrrr

Welcome!

I was one of the unfortunates who saw the movie first. I looked around at Blockbusters to see if I could rent the series first but nobody had it. I've turned quite a few of my friends onto it, still working on another. He's a big Star Wars fan so I'm using the Han Solo/Millenium Falcon approach.

im a little behind and firefly gossip and all that, and it'd take far too long to sift through all the hearsay. anyone have any clue about a possible second series?

I'da been more awake to keep up on things, but that darn Mal4prez's fanfic had me up all night. Gorramit, it was too good to stop reading.

I weren't shirkin'! I got some work done today. Studyin' my eyelids is workin.

Anyways, I did some fryin up of stuff and the kitchen smells all yummy. Go and find some Shanxi beef and some Guotie. Yes, real beef and not horse!

In the meantime, welcome to all the new recruits. Don't let the veterans push you outta line and settle in and fill those bellies. Table's all set and food's nice and hot.
