This made me think of Firefly and how we all got the shaft. Nathan is just so damn good and the character is just awesome. I kept waiting to hear "this is a recipe for unpleasantness" or "creepifying" or even "I swear by my pretty floral bonnet, I will end you". How could the other networks have passed on Firefly?

I cannot wait until next week. Nathan rocks!

(By the way, how funny was Xander's "leg cramp" in the beginning of the show?)

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

All I can say is WOW!!!

Nathan was great on Buffy. He was better than great. He was by far the best bad guy I have ever seen on Buffy. Some were doubting that Nathan could pull off the role of an evil priest, and that they thought Adam would play the part better. To thee I say nay! I think Nathan proved that he has the range of character to play any part.

To Nathan I say "Bravo My Captain. Well done!"

Heres something happy, new Buffy with Nathan tonight! Also, I feel the best way to boycott a thread is to not even post on it at all. It's kinda sad when the biggest thread isn't about all things that are wonderful about Firefly. So get ready for some good t.v. for a night! yeah!

Damn, might have spoke too soon. I just looked at yahoo t.v. and it's showing a repeat for tonight. Sorry, looks like I might have messed up. Well, I'm still happy something by Joss is on tonight.

Well, meanin' no disrespect to Nathan or BrownCoat1, I'm not sure that Caleb is an indicator of Nathan's range. The character struck me as quite similar to Mal, partially because of the unusual southern-fried speech patterns but even moreso because of the undercurrent of rage, barely contained just beneath the surface, in both characters.

The difference is in how that rage is channeled. When it's put into making things right, that's Mal. When it's put into doing... well, what Caleb did (so as not to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen "Dirty Girls"), that's Caleb.

Now, like I said, I mean no disrespect for Nathan. I loved him as Mal (as a matter of fact, the aforementioned rage made Mal the most interesting character on Firefly to me, and my favorite) and I'm loving him as Caleb. It's just that so far these two roles are all I've seen of Nathan. He may have an astounding range, I wouldn't know. I'm just saying if he does, Mal and Caleb aren't really different enough to illustrate it.

Brian (thinking out loud, really)

Okay, last week was a repeat but this week we finally get more Nathan and more new Buffy.

Only 4 left. I guess all we will have left after this is Angel. Can't wait to see Caleb tonight and see if anyone dies and how Xander is doing with one eye. Well, at least we know the 3 unaired Firefly will be in our hands in a couple of months. (hint, hint, to all those in the U.K., please get 'em to us)
