ALEN

First of all, hi all, I'm the new recruit, where do I take my coat and gear? :)
Before I go and take my post (till Mal gets back) I'd like to tell you some words of comfort:
Look at all the things this community has achieved - dvd of the series is one of the best sold dvd's on the net, same goes for the movie. The series has its own roleplaying game (old TSR writers did it), many fan sites on the net and a fanbase that is more dedicated and has a bigger IQ than any other fan base out there
Fellow browncoats, don't lose your hopes... We are certainly being watched. If a large group of people demands something and doesn't lose hope over it for such a big period of time since its cancellation, it MUST be worth something, and IT WILL BE put back on screen.
So, stop jumping on any rumour, recruit more of us each day, talk, talk, talk, rave about firefly until your mind feels sore and HOPE. It's the only way
One day, when you least expect it, you will find an official post telling you to turn on those little tvs or visit a local theatre, and you will know that we have won another victory
Until that time comes relax, enjoy life, share this wondefull experience with the ones you love, recruit and hope.
We WILL hold until Mal gets back.

Just my two cents

Oh, and this post comes from Europe, Serbia to be exact. The word has spread far and wide...

cheers all

Welcome to the revolution! Go to see more and more Browncoats keep shuffling in. I haven't been here long my own self. Good to see another inspired Browncoat. I'm sure Firefly will turn into a Phoenix and rise from the ashes once more. Thanks for the inspiration.

Wow, Alen, you made me feel so much better!
It's been a hard day here on the front lines, with the word from Joss of no offers. Serbia, wow, we are indeed spreading far and wide!

First off, hand over your coat, I'm gonna fix you up with your very own Browncoat... hope it fits, we've had so many new recruits that I'm diggin' in the storeroom. Your gear, keep close as we're holdin' all the time...

Someone will be along to offer you food and to tell you we're weird, but I suspect you already know that and are fine with it. Welcome home. That is what you will hear the most. We are so glad you are here.

Don't need to mention that we need to spread the word... you're right nifty at that already.

Thanks,Alen, for cheering me up. I appreciate it.

Now I am learning about scary.

Hi, Alen! What great words you have written. I especially like the part about our big IQs ! Really, your words of hope are what we probably all need to hear once in a while when we're tempted to give in to momentary despair.

There's always hope and we'll continue to hold.

Sit down, grab an empty place, and enjoy. The food's still warm. :)

Hope you like spring rolls and zongzi because of the new year. Chopstick or fork, your choice.

Welcome home. You make it all that nicer out here in the black.

Yup, I second (and third and fourth) that hearty WELCOME HOME, and thanks for the kind words. HOPE isn't all that will keep us alive, though. It's love, in point of fact. Love keeps her in the air when she oughtta fall, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens.. :)

Still, hope is what I'm clinging to. Well, hope AND love. Pay no heed to the "bad word" that no call has come to Joss yet. That was yesterday. We still have tomorrow, and all the tomorrows to come.

"We're still flying."
"That's not much."
"It's enough."

Chindi, you're my new favorite person. As Kinky says, "Friedman's just another word for nothing left to lose..."

I like my brown coat just fine, but Kinky's black one is nice, too.

ALEN from Serbia! Shiny!
FollowMal has been handing out coats like crazy.
I'm going to offer some California strawberries, but eat them neatly the way Kaylee does so you don't get the juice on that lovely coat.

Howdy Alen, welcome to our little Haven. :P

Sounds like you'll fit in just fine 'round here. As you can see already, if there's a shinier, friendlier bunch of 'coats out there in the black... well, I'm sure we're prettier. :P

Glad to have you, there's always room for one more on the front lines here. We'll be holding come hell or high water. 'Till Mal gets back.
