So, I just got the Darkhorse comic and I'm totally ecstatic. The art is amazing, the story is great (especially the scene where Wash and Zoe have sex in the cockpit!! :-) The depictions of the crew are great, especially the ones of Zoe and River. When I saw the picture of Simon, I busted out laughing!! He has on gloves and is holding a gun. The sleeves of his shirt are rolled up and his arm muscles are slightly bulging. That is not the Simon we know! It's cute, though. Maybe it's the 'Simon' he wishes he could be for Kaylee. All in all, great comic. I was all grins when I picked it up from Barnes & Noble, after waiting two weeks to get it on special order. Keep flyin', shiny people!!

You paid money for this sir? On purpose?

I already read the comic as a three-parter (having all but the River cover to Issue 3). But I still picked up the trade paperback just, well, 'cause. It's enjoyable, but I do think it's better as a single volume, due to its short length and all.

By the way, sorry to anyone in north Alexandria who wanted to nab it from the Barnes & Noble there. I kind of grabbed the last one. And the last Official Visual Companion.

Do they sell out quick, or do they just not stock enough? KF

Lord, I'm walking your way. Let me in, for my feet are sore, my clothes are ragged.
Look in my eyes, Lord, and my sins will play out on them as on a screen. Read them all.
Forgive what you can and send me on my path. I will walk on until you bid me rest.

Why not go with both?

The collection has a special foreword, right?

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move. - Douglas Adams
