As I was preparing to do laundry today, I started thinking about our beloved Wash, and a wave of sorrow over came me.

To me, Wash was the heart of the ship, and let's face it, without his sense of humor life would have been even more gloomy on that boat.

When I think of him being gone, I almost want to curse JW, though that would be blasphemy!

So, I have decided to honor our fallen BDH!

By the authority of nothing, and the power vested to me by no one, I declare today WASH DAY!

So, grab your hawaiian shirts, your plastic dinosaurs, and help me raise a mug of mudder's milk in toast to the greatest pilot to ever have lived!

He may be gone (goram it JW!) but he will never be forgotten!

Wash Day! Yes!

Oh, the things I'm gonna do to my wife tonight, in his honor. "There is no place on that woman that I wouldn't put my tongue," as Wash said in the "Bushwhacked" interrogation (cut) scene.

That was one of the things I liked most about Wash: He loved his wife, he lusted after her, he respected her as her own person. In other words, he reminded me of myself, and it was good to see that guy on TV.

I mean, hell, he turned down YoSafBridge! I'd like to think I would have too, but... Personally, I just try to avoid temptation, rather than counting on resisting it. Even Jesus prayed, "Lead us not into temptation...", by which I'm pretty sure He meant YoSafBridge.

Ummm... where was i? Right! Happy Wash Day!

Well, I am very happy for your wife and glad my inspiration is going to guarantee her such a pleasurable evening!!

I have to agree with you, Wash is the man that every woman should want. And, again, the genius of Joss Whedon, he gives us a man who is completely and utterly in love with his wife. Crappy tv doesn't really give us characters like that. Most times, the guys are looking for the next hot thing.

Like Cameron Crowe says in "Say Anything"..."Be a man...the world is full of guys".

That pretty much defines our Wash!
