How much would you give for serenity?

money isn't needed for firefly/serenity!!!

what's needed is one BIG VOICE to ask/challenge/
or beg Joss to definitely clear in 'verse or plain english
to say yes or no to a serentiy series - with
with this cast and crew111 and not a vague "someday"

we are wasting time and energy with "maybe's" and
"I heard's"

I say we start a letter writing campain or polls
or some such - to try to reach Joss or the
"powers that be" -who ever he listens to -his cat maybe- so we can get to the bottom of this
tangle !!!!

is anyone with me????

I sympathize with the need for action, but inundating Joss Whedon with letters and e-mail demanding a decision is not the direction we as a community should take.

I think Joss was disillusioned with the cancellation of Firefly and the "lukewarm" reception of Serenity at the theatres. His comments during those times reflected his displeasure (Firefly is over, etc.). Now that the DVDs are going through the roof and the buzz for this property is the highest its ever been, Joss's statements have become much more positive.

Steps to success:

1. Let Joss and Tim get the show to a new home (the offers will come)

2. Keep buying DVDs. The bigger the sales the greater the network desire for the show.

3. Instead of writing to Joss, focus on the network Execs. I've mentioned in other threads that Mrs. Ostroff (UPN and the new CW network) would be a nice person to communicate with. She has a relationship with Joss and a need for shows with FLANS.

4. Our job is to grow our numbers and buy DVDs. The rest will take care of itself.

Are JOss and Tim trying to get it back?

if they are then there is no need for a letter writing campaign

The question is --- is anything being done?

I am hearing "I heard's" he's doing this or that but no evidence that anything is being done

Is Joss interested in making this cast and crew
serenity series or -- maybe someday I might do something?

We are all ( better be “let it go’ers”) with you in regards to getting our BDHs back…
Grim is right on track....

Money IS needed for Serenity/Firefly...
And money is needed from us... In the form of purchasing affiliated merchandise.
The more Browncoats YOU convert, the more is sold.

The "I heards" are coming from the fact that this only a discussion forum. Gathering a united front has been and I am sure will be attempted by FLANS. Just read the many ideas from previous posts.
