I was watching some Firefly tonight - big surprise there - and I am an avid poker player and came up with some new hand nicknames.

For No Limit Texas Hold 'Em:

Ace/Ace: Full Burn
Best hand to flash your ass at the pot with!

King/King: Mal/Jayne

Obviously the cowboys of the series.

Ace/King: Alliance/Reavers
Not as good as the A/A or K/K, but still a deadly combination.

Queen/Queen: Inara/Nandi
Our beautiful companions doing what they do best.

Ace/Queen(suited): Mal/Zoe
That war buddy bond smell!

Queen/Jack(suited)Zoe/Wash
Zoe and her man.

Six/Nine(suited): Kaylee/Simon
Self-explanitory!

I wanted to come up with some ones for Kaylee, River, and Book, but couldn't think of anything...

The six nine suited is a bit crass.
I was thinking King/Queen unsuited... Mal/Inara.
Good grouping, but something separates them.
2 7 off suit - jayne-river. They just hurt each other.
