Well, while out with friends at the movies one night, I saw the trailer for Serenity. I recognized the cast and of course the writer/director (Joss is boss!). Having never watched the Firefly series while it aired originally, I found the episodes online, and from minute one, I was hooked. Went out immeadiately and bought the box set, saw Serenity twice in the theaters, and have since watched the series and the big damn movie about 50 times. Just thought I'd introduce how I got into the life of it all, so there it was, my introduction. Hello all!

Someone else said DVDs so I can get right on to the fun part.

You'll find a fun bunch here, they're smart, funny, nice, other good adjectives, and generally a good time to talk to. Whenever you have something you want to say don't hesitate, we love to hear from new people, old people, average people, timeless people, and more or less anyone else interested in Firefly or Serenity. I know sometimes people get intimated by being new to a group, but don't be. No one cares when you joined, just that you're with us now.

Also you'll feel right at home here no matter who you are, which I hope you reveal to us in greater detail later, because this is a very accepting group.

Everyone seems pretty shiny here. For an ex-computer tech, this is actually only my 2nd forum, or at least, 2nd that is still up! Thanks for the acceptance. And yes, I will reveal more about myself in the coming few days/weeks, whenever I can hop on. Don't hesitate to ask me anything. I'm kind of like Mal, I can be hard to open up at first, but, once you get me going, I won't shut up!
