Ok, so I waited, and didn't order the BDM from Amazon, or anywhere else, so I'm hoping to pick up a copy locally tomorrow. What I want to know is, which retailer has the BDM the cheapest? Walmart? Best Buy? Circuit City? Target? Come on people, I need to know!

These are the BDM prices for these stores, accordding to their websites:

Target: $16.98
Best Buy: $17.99
Circuit City: $17.99
Walmart:$19.99

I don't know about you, but I'm hitting Target as soon as the doors are open

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I have no idea what the price might be in the stores, but here's what they have listed on their websites:

Target - $16.98 (same as amazon.com)
Best Buy - $17.99
Circuit City - $17.99
Walmart - $19.88

yeah, it will be intersting to see if Target sticks to that price. The weekly flyer here: http://weeklyad.target.com/target/circular_browse_page_large.asp?store
id=2396021&rapid=212932&pagenumber=8&clicksrc=01
& doesn't exactly list a price, and it only says "LOW PRICE" when you click on the BDM image/link.

If you happen to live near a Fry's Electronics (dunno whether there are any outside of California (or Southern California at least)), they have it for 14.99 but for Tuesday only.

Aside from the closeness of it, I usually head straight for Circuit City. More often then not they have certain movies for $14.99...in fact that is where I will be heading at about 8 o' clockish tomarrow...

But...I guess I don't really care how much it costs there, cause BestBuy is too far away.

Drunks are so cute.

Best Buy is doing a deal where if you buy Serenity and either Season 1 or 2.0 (which, by the by, is not the entire season 2, for some idiotic reason) of Battlestar Galactica, you get 10 bucks off. Works for me :).

$14.99 and it comes bundled with "Uptown Girls" Go figure.

Sort of off the subject, but I was at the video store last week, and some nice guy who worked there gave me a Serenity poster for free. I think he must have liked me or something...

I took the poster to my job and put it on the wall near my desk. I guess someone got all offended regarding the posters content, and made a fuss. I ended up having to take it down.

Question: Is there anything offensive about the Serenity poster? If there is, I can't see it.

Stupid people are often offended by smart dialog, interesting characters and a plot. The poster just reminds them that they are too dumb to understand it.

The only thing that would come to my mind would be that River has on a short skirt, and holding weapons (if that's the poster you have that is). However I don't think the poster is done in bad taste...you're not seeing anything risque. I like the poster quite a bit...and not just because I'm a Big Damn Fan. I think it's done up quite nicely!!

Most people that complain about stuff like that are the ones with un-happy lives themselves that have nothing better to do than complain about something. You got any older, bitter people working in your area?

I got mine at WalMart for $16.97

You could also buy it bundled with The Hulk for $19.99.

Why on Earth they'd bundle it with that go-se movie is beyond me.

If the person who complained didn't know it was a movie poster, it might make sense. It would be like saying the state of serenity is having cool looking weapons or (in a more extreme sense) going on a murderous rampage.

I didn't buy it today because Christmas is right around the corner. I'm hoping I get it. I rented it though and I've been watching it all day since 10 in the morning.

I first went to Target, and yes, it was a "low price" of $19.99 there, so off I went to Walmart, where the BDM was no where to be found, so I finally headed to BestBuy and bought it for $17.99...

Stopped by my local video store on the way home, and they had the BDM playing on the big screen TV, so hopefully it will get some attention there!

I went to Target at lunch and found both full and widescreen version. Price label said 19.99 and I sure was not going to go to WalMart. I went up to pay for it and guess what? $16.99!!! They did not have a sale sign up. Not sure why as I used to work there in Electronics and find it hard to believe the Team Leader left that out.
