Thoughts on a new DVD player...

My old DVD player started acting flaky, so I recently got a new one -- a 5-disc changer this time.

Shiny! Now I can have all my Firefly DVDs loaded all the time, and still have a tray open for an occasional movie.

But wait! In a few weeks I'll have the Serenity DVD, which I'll also have to keep loaded all the time -- so I won't have room for anything else in the player!

And then... what if there's a sequel? Or several sequels? And I forgot about the Firefly and Serenity soundtrack CDs... arrrgh! (also grrrr!)

...How much do those 100-disc players cost these days?

By the way, I got the Panasonic DVD-F87. Very nice, lots of features. Still figuring out all the settings. One minor issue: no optical output for digital audio (though there is a coax output).
