BELLONA

Hey, just wondering, are there any scottish Browncoats on here? Particularly the Edinburgh/Fife area? 'Cause I'm kinda lonely, what with all you trendy foreigners an' such.

Feel free to tell me I'm a sad lonely loser living on the corner of No and Where if you like, just thought I'd ask...

Used to live in Fife many, many years ago bellona, but I'm back in the US now. I know of two or three West Coast Scots who are fans, one from Edinburgh, and I met one on-line from Dunfirmline, but I can't remember his name. Good luck!

JAYNE "Pain is scary..."

Waves! Hi there. I'm new around here, though I've been a fan since the series came out on the sci-fi channel last year. Nice to here from a fellow Scot.

Wow! A Fifer! *high-5's!"

Born in Dundee but lived in Fife all my life (just along the road from St Andrews, outside Cupar) but now I'm at university back in Dundee.

Yay! It's great that there are some other people from my neck of the woods on here.

Nah your not on your own out here - You got another browncoat in Edinburgh, even if this one does originally hail from London-that-was. Everyone has their faults......

That said there are a hell of a lot of fans in this town - they just don't post. I know of least 4 boxsets that are doing the rounds!

Best £7.95 I'm ever going to have spent.

If you can make it - the more the merrier, as they say.

Whoah. I never noticed how many Scottish Browncoats there are on the site.

I'm close to the Edinburgh area. (Linlithgow, West Lothian).

EDITED TO ADD: I see from your profile that your from Kirkcaldy? It's not a bad location. (There are worse places in my region I can think of.) It has a good shopping area and there's a beach. (There aren't any in my area... )

Great to have a fellow Scot on the board!

So do you go to Kirkcaldy High School?

My dad went there, he works in Dunfermline now :)

Also no offence but Kirkcaldy's a gorram dung heap. Not considered a nice place by many people outside it. The council should spend lots of money and do up the town, especially since it and Glenrothes are fast becoming one huge place.

Shame about the neds too.

I'm at university in St Andrews, so yeah I'm pretty near all of you guys. There's a few of us students up here that I know of. Would be cool to go to a big shindig nearby if there was one.

There's one being planned in Glasgow for mid December I think over at the Browncoat boards. It's a bit far for me to travel though.

A St. Andrews/Dundee-area Shindig would ROCK!! Would very much be up for that. As long as it doesn't involve the Gin House or The Keys...

Yay!
Big yell out to all the Scottish Browncoats!

Feelin' a might lonley here in Edinburgh - whenever I start talkin about Firefly or Serenity, people always go: 'wot you on about? or huh?'

Startin' to think I go to school with nimrods (in the shiniest possible sense of the word of course) - how can they never have heard of Firefly?!?

Shocking!

Tell them I ain't comin' back...
