I just wanted to say thank you everyone for being fans of the Firefly/serenity 'verse.

I know its a waste of a thread to do this, but I think you all deserve the thanks.

I would also like to thank all of the Browncoats, who was there when it all started, and held the line so myself and all the new fans coming in could have a foundation to start from.

This is a forum full of people who know what is good!

I keep ready different posts from people who seem to think that this 'verse is over...

well it wasn't over when Fox canceled it in 2002
there was like 9 months, with no word about anything good coming (Sept 2003 Universal green lit a movie)

So I hope that more people realize, like you,
that we just hang in here (and fff really is the best place to do the hanging around)
because there will be more comics and eventually a sequel...
and if we are very good little boys & girls,
there may be a spin off....

in the mean time Sci-fi channel is going to continue running Firefly
and we have the DVD of 'Serenity' to look forward to
and we have each other to discuss thing with....

just lets please discuss what is fun
and stop all these depressing threads of doom & gloom
(did you see that crappy thread blaming us Browncoats for 'Serenity's box office failure?...)

It is has been a bumpy & uncertain road but I would do it again in a minute without any reservation to be part of this fanbase, to view this story Joss gave us, to meet all the wonderful fans I have met so far, and to have met so many of the cast members.
