Serenity on the rise in Australia.

Well, in Victoria at least.

I just heard from a friend of mine who lives in Colac (a little teeny country town) that Serenity will be opening in their theatres soon.

For this movie to be opening in Colac theatres it means that Serenity had to have made big money in the box office nation wide and there has to be some interest shown in it locally.

Not all movies are released in small country towns and certainly only those expected to make more money and draw people in.

This is *good* news, people.

Yay Australian browncoats. 's'all I'm sayin'.
