When will it not be in theatres anymore? I'm going to Reno tomorrow with my best friend and he needs to see it since he loves Firefly as well... it'll be my 3rd time.

it is already gone most places,
it is only in 309 theaters in North American
(US & Canada combined)
next Friday will be even fewer....

Anyone who still has Serenity playing near them,
and wants to see it again in the theater,
shouldn't hesitate...go this week!

Friday it could be gone.

INSANITYLATER

Remember.. most cities have "cheap theatres" at $2 and $3. It should be hitting them in a week or two , that should stop the shakes until the DVD comes out. I hear it's December 20th for N. America.

I live almost dead-center between Greenville, Spartanburg and Columbia (all South Carolina), an hour or so from each. And of the three cities there is only one theater in Columbia still showing the BDM. But as a little side note, the big sign by the road listing what's showing has Serenity listed first!

I made a promise last year, to see the BDM at least once a week, as long as it's in theaters. So I'm up for showing number seven sometime this week.

December 20th, I'll have to remember that.
Just in time for christmas (or X-mas as some will call it).
Hope it's loaded with some special features; interviews, commentary, deleted scences, and a "Gag Reel".

As far as I can determine, the only theater in MA still showing the BDM is the Solomon Pond Mall Regal 15 in Marlboro. Excellent theater, by the way. Tied for best sound with Regal Westboro (among screens I've seen it on).

I ran into a browncoat who works at the Solomon Pond theater. We chatted for a while after the late Saturday showing I went to. He mentioned how happy he was to see the run had been extended through this week.

I may be going with friends tonight for my last first-run viewing (sniff).

MADRIK

Well, I went to Winnemucca, Nevada to visit my best friend this week. Since it had JUST stopped playing here, we went to Reno (3 hours away) to hang out and go see Serenity. Turns out, no theatres in Reno were playing Serenity. So we heard that Serenity is playing Sacramento, California. So we went! Turns out, Serenity isn't playing there either.

It's sad since I got my best friend hooked on Firefly but oh well.. I got a hole-in-one at the 18th hole when we went to play mini-golf. Buy one game get one free for the next time I drive 10 hours from home!
