Sorry folks, I forgot my manners when I started posting here I just jumped in and made myself feel at home. Well.... I felt at home, what can I say.

I'm a new Firefly/Serenity fan, gone head over heels.

Thank you for this wonderful place to come and talk about them and hear the news.

Welcome to the site & fandom FollowMal.

No need to apologize, as DarkJester said we don't stand much on formality here.

If you want to express your gratitude for the site though, introduce everyone you know to Firefly, and more importantly the film "Serenity". We are still a long way from where we would like to be as far as box office #s go, so every person we put in a seat in a theatre is a big help.

Word of mouth got us this far, but we really need to amp it up to get where we need to be.

Thanks your for your kind words of welcome!

I have been unable to help myself where spreading the word of Firefly/Serenity is concerned, lol.
Everyone in my family has heard about it and been to the movie with me, now three times. Also sent my daughter and her fiance in CA. Bought the DVD's of the show, and when my Mom asked to borrow them ( I took her to the movie 1st time. Became an instant fan!) I bought her a set to own!
I talk about it at our business and run the DVD's on the tv there in our shop. I've gotten lots of questions and our worker sits and watches the show with me on his break. Steered lots of folks to the movie, offered to pay their way... none's taken that offer yet... not had one customer come back who wasn't in love with it! Hope I've made some converts... I've sure tried hard enough, and I'll do more this week, when a bunch of us go to see it for what I'm afraid is the last time ( it's leaving our main theaters an hr. away from us). I'll keep doing whatever I can to spread the word too. I'm buying the DVD's of the show and movie for everyone on my list for bdays and Christmas.

I've called the theaters in the smaller venues closer to us and asked about Serenity coming to them. Told them I'd like to bring a group and encouraged them to carry it. I've got a group just in my family alone! Got good friends now going too. I'll just keep working hard...

Hell, I'm a older lady and I talked to my daughter's tatoo lady yesterday about getting a "serenity" tatoo on my back!! I've never thought of such a thing in my life.... but I just may do it! LOL

Thanks again to all for your welcome. I truly do feel at home here and love knowing that there are other folks out there that feel the way I do and are willing to do stuff to help keep this wonderful 'verse alive!
