Instead of saying things like 'G**D***it' and 'S***t' I've been instinctively saying things like 'Gorrammit!' and various other firefly-related phrases...it sounds foolish, I know, but I'm glad it's helping me move one step closer to not swearing anymore! :D

He he..."ta ma de" has become one of my explecatives when things go terribly wrong. Well, that and "frack/frell" (BSG/Scaper). :)

I aim to...well,...shoot somebody. Kaylee?!!!

Jace,

So funny you made this post! I do the same thing! I'm not much for vulgarity in general, but MAN - now I can get my feelings out without offending people. Granted, they think I'm speaking gibberish, but whatever...

Thanks for the post, Karen

I've been saying "frell" for years and I never really got into Farscape.

Hoping that "gorram" will be my new one! :D

Don't forget "ruttin'", which can be substituted for the nuclear vulgarity without loss of implication.

Well, I had to check before I used "Ta ma duh!" at this office where I was recently volunteering: Lots of Chinese employees!

I asked one individual, "Are you speaking Cantonese or Mandarin?"

He said, "Both," so I opted out of risking it.
