SUNDANCE

Hey all here's a little mystery i'm hoping somebody can help with. Just been browsing on the Amazon uk site tapped in "Serenity", as you do, to see what's available and one item it churned out is a Dark Horse Comic due for release on 28.02.06 that looks like it is the film, if you get my meaning. It's available for pre-order now and i think it's about a fiver (looks funny when you spell that!).

Anyone in the know? Sure you are!

Much obliged

Looks like it the compiled version of the three-part series we've already seen.

"Come a day there won't be room for naughty men like us to slip about at all..."
I know the secret.

I assume you mean this:

I think it's an all-in-one-volume reprint of the 3-part Serenity prequel comics.

Looks like you both could be right - haven't been able to get hold of a copy of the comics so this is a good idea, sure to be a hit. Unusual for Amazon UK to be so on the ball, finally!

I knew somebody would know! Thx team.

Yeah, Dark Horse is usually pretty speedy with their collected editions. I think it's probably one of the reasons we didn't get reprints of issue 2 even though it sold out so quickly. They're usually nice quality, though, and frequently have cover images in the back if there were multiple covers. So, hopefully, it'll also give people the cover art from all nine comics.

I hope I can get ahold of the real deal comics. There's always something... tactile missing from compilations.

But hey, if I can't get the originals then I don't have to miss out, now do I?

Awesome. That's what I've been waiting for. Was hoping they'd do a nice limited edition hardback though. Think I'll make a headline post to encourage any Dark Horse guys that may be reading the boards to consider it.

I asked about the comics at my local comic store and they had sold out but gave me a date around the one above for the TPB. I saw it on Amazon.co.uk and assumed that's what it was too.
