SciFi.com just put up an article on Buffy's future. Firefly was not specifically mentioned, but this was:

Quote:

Added Leslie Moonves, president and chief executive officer of CBS, "One possibility, she comes back. One possibility, she comes back a couple of times. One possibility is we do a spinoff. Another possibility is we have a brand new show Tuesday at 8 o'clock, and all of them right now are possible."

The latter possiblity might, possibly, could be good news for Firefly. Buffy's loss may very well be Firefly's salty goodness....

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

As much as hate to see Buffy's future up in the air, it does seem that it could be a window of opportunity. Too bad UPN passed on Firefly.

I meant only to offer a glimer of hope that UPN might change their mind.

Zoe: “You sanguine about the kind of reception we're apt to receive on an Alliance ship, Captain?”
Mal: “Absolutely. What's sanguine mean?”
Zoe: “Sanguine - hopeful. Plus, point of interest, it also means bloody.”
Mal: “Well, that pretty much covers all the options, don't it?”

If only it were true my friend. I think that UPN is a lost cause and our efforts best spent in the campaign on Sci Fi.
