hi everyone, I am a senior in high school and we need to have a quote to put under our picture for the year book. It needs to be like a quote about graduating such as live well, love much, yada yada yada I want to use a firefly quote/serenity quote but I cant think of a good one. I need it by thursday! help please!!!!!!! Thanx

You could always check out fortune-firefly (a list of firefly quotes, designed for the program "fortune" but human readable) at http://www.daughtersoftiresias.org/progs/firefly/. Go to fortune-firefly-1.9/ and get the file "firefly". Quotes are separated by a "%". There's something like 86k worth of quotes in there. :)

Whew! For a second there I thought no one was going to mention that one. I was almost appauled. Yes, this one definitely gets my vote. It was the first thing that came to mind. I was a senior in high school last year (now I'm a freshman at the university, ah!) and if they would have let us have quotes, that's what I woulda put. It's subtle enough where if you haven't seen the show, they wouldn't get it, but still understand and like the saying on it's own. However, anyone who saw the episode would recognise it. It's about life in general, and that's what yearbooks are all about, looking at the past, preparing for the future.

I can't remember what my quote was in my yearbook. But I remember that the stupid yearbook editors messed it up and added punctuation and exclamation points where there wasn't supposed to be.
