Some people won't go to see any other movies until Serenity is out of theaters, but for those who will what are you thinking of seeing?

Good Night and Good Luck looks good to me, and honestly that is all that looks good to me that is coming out any time soon.

For one thing is that in spite of it’s content it is reported as remarkably balanced. One would think that it is still quite skewed, but when it comes to MaCarthy so am I, besides it’s not as if they put words into his mouth, they use actual footage. He gets to speak for himself, even if it is without the possibility of rebuttal.

It’s described by a viewer on IMDb as, “far from the left-wing festival some are expecting (or hoping) to see.” I consider that a good sign, the material is obviously compelling, and the acting looks quite good.

^ and then Narnia. Narnia I'll see in the theaters, but the others I'll wait to see on DVD. (or just buy on DVD. I have to own W&G) I'm spending all my movie money on Serenity.

Serenity, First Officer of Destiny

The next movie I plan on paying money in a theatre to see is Serenity II, period.

With the possible exception of Wonder Woman....

Theatres are for events Chrisisall

Yeah, that looked good, definitely theater worthy. It looked like the kind of thing that belongs in a theater, not a tv.

Maybe a History of Violence.

I've just seen A History Of Violence. It's low-key but often tense.

"My God - you're like a trained ape. Without the training."
"Come a day there won't be room for naughty men like us to slip about at all..."
I know the secret.

Here's my list for the rest of the year:

Must-see:
Good Night, And Good Luck
Jarhead
King Kong
Munich

Maybe-Waiting for reviews:
Domino
Elizabethtown
The Legend of Zorro
Walk the Line
Narnia
Memoirs of a Geisha
Fun with Dick and Jane

If I get a chance/Haven't Decided/On Video:
History of Violence
Harry Potter

Not if you hung me upside down over a vat of boiling water swarming with laser-beam armed sharks while having Roseanne Barr sing the national anthem to me:
Doom
Big Momma's House 2

"Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government."

I am going to see Jarhead when it comes out. I also went to see Waiting... which was utterly hilarious.

I am a movie fan, but I am also one of those who will see nothing except the BDM until it's out of any theaters I can realistically drive to. I won't mind missing anything else.

Sex and violence on the big screen, where it belongs.

Part of the problem with the movie you've been looking forward to for the whole year is that after you see it, it's kind of all downhill from there.

I have a copious list of flicks I want to see, but the ones I really want to check out is KING KONG (has probably the best trailer for the whole year), MUNICH, the George Clooney political thriller double header of GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK and SYRIANA, FUN WITH DICK AND JANE (always the Jim Carrey fan), THE PRODUCERS, KISS KISS BANG BANG, HARRY POTTER 4, BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN and CHICKEN LITTLE.

XANDER: (baby-talk) Who's a little fear demon?
C'mon, who's a lit-tle fear demon?
GILES: Don't taunt the fear demon.
XANDER: Why? Can he hurt me?
GILES: No, it's just… tacky.
