Did anyone catch the version of the Firefly main theme at the end of the credits? Pretty shiny- Except that the Soundtrack DOESN'T HAVE IT.

Anyone else notice this?

Yes, it's at the end (different version than the show, instrumental only). VERY shiny, but I wonder how many people stayed that long to hear it - folks, it's right at the VERY end - it's worth staying for!

Yep heard it at the very end, lovely little tribute to the show I thought, a beautiful instrumental.

And I was very disappointed it was not on the soundtrack.

As a matter of fact, I'm, not to happy with the soundtrack at all, there was still some great music that is either missing from the soundtrack or woefully cut short.

I didn't watch all the credits. I watched some, but I was in the way of some people that wouldn't go the other way, so I left. I'm hopeing to go see the BDM a 2nd time tomorrow hopefully. I'll try and stay for all the credits then. Although I downloaded that song and it's been playing on my PC since like a couple days before the movie came out. Listening to it right now actually...

Thanks :) It's perhaps some what a sick joke for me having it as my sig, but that's one of the quotes I can actually remember correctly. I do like Wash so don't get pissy Wash fans.

Anyways no I don't got the instrumental version. I don't think I'd prefer though.

Yep.

The chord structure was kinda turned sideways, but the melody fit over it. Clever. Several people sang along. Very touching. Thanks to the powers that be for the homage.

The Serenity music was good, but hooboy do I miss Greg Edmundson's [sp?] stuff. No Dobro to be heard! How about a Big Damn Collaboration for the Big Damn Sequel?

Not sure, but I think the soundtrack may have come out before the movie hit the big screen.

If you guys want the Firefly theme then buy the Firefly soundtrack (Think it was recently re-released. Google for it.) or download Limewire and download the song. Should be able to get like 90 copies of the song onto one disc. Song is only 50 sec. long and a disc holds 80 min. Now if that isn't a great cd to listen to while going to bed, then I don't know what is.
