I posted this on the 'Versal board as well, but here 'tis again if you didn't see it there:

The SF Browncoats are hosting a midnight (night of the 29th, morning of the 30th, just so we're clear) premiere at the Metreon in San Francisco. Here, in no particular order, are the skinny, the lowdown, the 411 and the info:

• Way cool and most shiny prize drawings before the movie

• Pre-show entertainment at the just-a-couple-blocks-away Varnish Gallery. Enjoy adult-type drinks while watching a screening of "Objects in Space." Admission is free, but you must be 21+ to attend. Sorry, little browncoats! Check out Varnish at www.varnishfineart.com/events/ . They're located at 77 Natoma St. between 1st and 2nd St. and Mission and Howard. And don't worry about losing your spot in line by going to Varnish. We'll have people at both locations.

• Then, of course, the Big Damn Movie. Costumes are encouraged! Get your tickets at Fandango ( http://www.fandango.com/MoviePage.aspx?date=9/29/2005&mid=85802)

• Want more info? Not on the SF Browncoats list? Then join the SF Browncoats list ( http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/sfbrowncoats/) and get more info!

Got it? Good. See you all there!

By the way, I had meant to ask ... How many folks out there reckon they might be going to the SF midnight showing?
