NCBDMPP tickets in hand!!!!!

The movie has been moved to 9:30PM and the costume contest will be at 7:30PM

Poo, now I have to change posters.

But that is not the big news!

In my hot sweaty hands are 50 tickets to the NCBDMPP!

More are on hold at the theater for pick up next Friday! When you get to the theater just say you are with the Serenity Shindig and then buy your tickets!

Send me an e-mail at tickets@ncfirefly.com or xander05@gmail.com with the following information:

1) Name
2) Number of tickets needed
3) Phone number

You can pick up your tickets from me or one of the staff on Friday, September 30th after 1PM. I will accept cash only.

The tickets will be $7.50 each.

I made a call to the theater and I now have 75 preorder tickets. So once I hit 75 tickets everyone else will have to buy them that day. But there will be no problems. The theater sits 500 people.

Which means that there are 17 preorder tickets left. Once those run out you have to buy your own ticket at the theater the day of the movie. Any time after 1:30pm. Just say you are with the Shindig!

Local tv stations and newspapers will be there reporting. So dress up! Who knows maybe you will win the costume contest! People will begin arriving at 7:30pm with the costume contest starting at 8pm or so.

umm actually I had posted today - Sunday- on the yahoo group that I didn't see my name listed as needing tickets. Ive been having some email issues both coming and going and thought perhaps you hadn't gotten my email.

I had not planned on getting a car, and was sort of hoping someone else would pick me up and take me to the hotel.

I was planning to come up earlyish Fri., But the job is trying to "foul things up". So I might be later than I'd like if I have to come in to work. Grrr. Anyone in Charlotte or Raleigh wanna offer me a job? Not kidding. I've notifyied the couple that plans to attend with me and will reconnect with them when I arrive on Fri. If I'm delayed, their names are Jim and Donna and she'll likely have a Jayne hat. I should be there by 7:30. Hopefully sooner.

Okay. This is the schedule for Friday unless someone else thinks of something interesting.

Friday:

5:00PM Dinner at Ri-Ra's (For those people that have already e-mailed me on attendance)
7:30PM Theater Arrival (Pick up tickets and Name badges from the NCFirefly staff in front of the theater)
8:00PM Costume Contest (The winner and runner-up will receive prizes!)
9:40PM SERENITY (we will be able to get our seats at about 9:15 or so)

Once you factor in trailers, commercials, and the big damn movie the running time should be about 2 hours and 5 minutes.

12:00AM Party! There are going to be 2 locations available for the shindiggery. One location has a limited number of people allowed while the other is a public bar. Sign up sheets will be at the theater with directions, etc.

Saturday:

There will be different activities planned. Several people will be going to the Renn Fair in Charlotte, NC. Once again just sign up for which ones you want to do that way we can get an idea of what everyone wants to do. Some costs may apply (ie. going to see Serenity again).
